Tho Canterbury Pigeon Plying CJub flow off a rac© from Waiouru. The winner of first and special prizes was D. Dore's Alva, which traversed the distance of MO miles 836 yards air-line in 10 hours 3 minutes 37 Beconds. The following is tho velocity recorded by each owner's bird:—D. Dore's Alva, 991 yds per minute; P. Kintsford'o Perlot, 091 yds per minute; E. Fucn's Le Brique, 990 yds per minute; C. Woodhouse's Indian Chief, 9S9yds per minute.
