MAINTENANCE. Amandns Francis Parker, who was £4 Is 9d in arrears on an order for the in ninto n aneo of his wife, was sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment in default of payment, and was ordered.to pay expenses. Mr Cassidy appeared for tho complainant. Alexander Thompson was sentenced to three months' imprisonment in default of paymentof £48, which ho was in arrears on a maintenance order in respect of his wife, for whom Mr Cuningham appeared. A sentence of threo months' imprisonment in default of payment was inflicted on Christopher Cullen Flanagan, charged with disobeying an order for tho maintenance of his wifo. William Anderson, for disobeying a maintenance order, was sentenced to three "weeks* imprisonment in default of payment of arrears. Mr Cuningham appeared for tho complainant. Sidney Sanderson (Mr Lucas), who applied for a variation of an order for the maintenance of his wifo and child, had tho rate of paying off the arrears reduced from ss. to 2s per week. A maintenance order for £3 P® r week against Charles Begg Kerr (Mr Kirk) was reduced to £1 15s per week. Margaret Morcane (Mr Hunter) asked for a separation order against lier husband, Frank Morcano (Mr Cuningham) on the grounds of drunkenness and cruelty. In the course of lengthy evidence, it transpired that tho defendant, when a soldier, had met the complainant in Hyde Park, London, and had subsequently married her. The separation order was granted, with maintenance at the. rate of 53 per week.
