SEAMEN'S INSTITUTE. During %bo past week over 100 seamen and boys made use of the Seamen's Institute, and about 15 offioers visited the club rooms. An enjoyable social evening was held, there being a large attendance of eeamen, who were provided with supper by the Lyttelton Ladies' Guild. Fifty 6eamen attended religious services, and thTeo joined the SailorsChristian Brotherhood; U new testaments were distributed on request, in. addition to large bundles of magazines and other literature.
