BANGIORA DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.
♦ : — Tlio Rangiora Dofenca Rifle Club opened its eooson on Saturday afternoon by firing a matcli between teams selected by the president (Mr D. W. L. Mehrtens) and the VicePresident (Mr C. Tyler), resulting in a win for the latter team by 19 points. The weather during the afternoon woo very unpleasant, tho riflemen having to face a howling nor'-wester. It was intended to have fired off the 200, 300, and' 500 yards ranges, but the latter had to be abandoned owing to the adverse weather conditions. Under the circumstances the results obtained were very gratifying. The following ■ aro the particular6'~~ PRESIDENT'S TEAM.
