♦ 1.0.0. F. LODGE. Tho regular meeting of the Loyal City of Norwich Lodge was hold last Tuesday, P.G. Bro. V. Dromgoole, N.G., presiding over a good attendance ol members. One candidate was initiated. The sum of £20 lis 4d was passed aa sick pay. D.P.G.M. Bro. L. P. Longuet, Prov. C.S. Bro. A. J. Archbold, P.P.G.M. Bro. J. K, Merriman, district treasurer of tho North Canterbury District, and a large number of past district officers and representatives of Christchurch and suburban lodges, paid an official visit and wero heartily ' weloome by tho N.G. P.G.M. Bro. C, F. " Bell and Prov. C.S. Bro. J. L. Carnell, Lyttelton District, wero also present. THE PICTURES. A powerful Paramount story, "Tho Hungry Heart," starring Pauline Erederick, was | screened yesterday at tho Harbour Light Picture Theatre, and will be repeated to-night. I The programme will bo completely changed to. , morrow, when Ethel Clayton will appear in _ the leading role in an absorbing - society drama, "Tho Woman Beneath. 1 ' Among the : supporting subjects will bo a comedy, "Tha High Diver's Cuibo." BOWLING. At the indoor rink at Lyttelton yefit-erday a match wq-s played between the Ooawa and Kiaora Clubs, Petherington, Archbold, West, and C. Goldstonc (s) playing for Opawa, and J. H. Collins. J. Young, D. Sinclair, and D. Page (e) for Lyttelton. Next Tuesday Strango's, Ltd., will play a challenge match against iho Kiaora Club. ODDFELLOWS' LODGE. . T>o r S 3, L s> n =¥ ot >. D.P.G.M., Archibald, ir.0.0., and Merriman, P.T., accompanied by about members of the various lodges in the North Canterbury district, paid a fraternal visit to tho Loyal City of Norwich Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., Lyttelton. The lodges represented wero the Loyal City of Christchurch, Volunteer, Addington, Sister Pcarce, Riccarton Benevolent, Perseverance, and Warmairi. An enjoyable social evening was spent and musical selections wero given by Bros. W. T. Lester, P.P.G.M., Kent, P.P.G.M., Bell, P.G.M., W. Carson, P.P.G.M., Confort, P.G., Harris, P.G., Lumby, P.G., Johnson, P.G. During tho evening one candidate was initiated.
