4— THE FUNERAL. The funeral of tjie late Ecr. TV. R. Campbell was held at Waiau yesterday afternoon, and was very largely attended, representatives from all parts of the deceased's original extensive charge being present. ® mourners were Mr Tythe J. > Mrs Brown, and Miss A. M. Campb*H, son-in-law and daughters respectively of the deceased. A held in the deceased's late residency Clissold street, Men vale, shortly before 9 a.m., and the cortege then .eft for Amuri. The bodv was borne to its last resting place by T Mes *" , IW. Rutherford., jun G. L. "uther- ! ford Erie Rutherford, and Alister ! -Rutherford. The senrice at the graveside was conducted by the Bex. J. it. Thomson, of Waiau, and the Kev. I'r. Erwin, of Christchurch, the latter gyring a touching address on'the n ob!e and self-sacrificing liio-of the deceased while ministering to the spiritual welfare of the people of the Amuru , Among those present were: Captain and Mrs Brown (son-in-law and daughter), Miss Campbell (daughter), A.
