LONDON, May 21. An Italian official message says: "One of our storming parties on Sunday night captured a pqrtion of a tronch at Caposile, and heavily repulsed a strong counter-attack in the morning. "Allied airmen dropped eight tons of bombs on military objectives in the Val Sugana."
(Australian and N.Z, Cable Association.) NEW YORK, May 21. The "New York Times" Rome correspondent says the enemy's bombardment is more intense in the mountain region. Where an attack on a grand scale is momentarily expected. Italian aviators report a.tremendous concentration of enemy troops arid material. Tlio weather is clearing, and this -will enable the offensive to betjin. The Italians aro most confident of their ability to repel the assaults.

An Italian official message states:—
"Wo defeated tho enemy, who twice attacked on tho southern slopes of Sassorosso.
"Our thrust in the direction of Monte Fenera inflicted considerable Joss on the enemy. ~\Ve carried out ii successful eoup-de-mnin on Mount Soninoncia, almost destroying tho garrison and lines at Cnposile.
"The Allied airmen brought down nine enemy aeroplanes."
