Tho Management Committee of the Canterbury Hockey Association met last evening. Present —Messrs \V. Simpson (chairman), C. Bellamy, H. Bell, S. Morris, A. Locke, J. Sopor, E. Harland, S. G. Hollanda E. R. Smith, P. N. Quartermain, and H. Rogers (hon. secretary). It was dooided to ask Mr Goldabury to act as assistant supervisor to Mr Ford in connexion with tho fivc-a-side tournament on June 3rd. Tho' explanation of .the Cranford Club in rogard to the default of their Third Grade A team oft the 18th instant was accepted and the fine remitted. It was arranged that tho Fouifh Grade competitions should commence on the 25th

instant. A deputation was received from the Ladies' Hockey Association in regard to the concert to bo held in the King's Theatre. HANGIORA LADIES' CLUB. At a meeting of the Rangiore. Ladies' key Club on Tuesday evening, it was decided that, owing to inability to get a sufficient number of players, tho club should witndraw its teams from All competitions thia season.
