The Following message lins been addressed to tile Press Association from Bagdad, dated March 26th: —The Xoiv Zealand wireloss troop is still going strong in Mesopotamia, as is evidenced ljv the decorations and promotions which members have gained. Sergeant Robinson (Awanui radio) has been awarded the Italian bronze medal, and Corporal Ptiarse (Wellington) tho meritorious service metlal, whilst Captain Melvillo and Lieutenant McKeown have received their promotions in the field. Captain Melvdlo (lato Auckland and Rotorua) loft New Zealand witn the troop as lance-corporal, and Lieut. McKeown (late Wellington) as sergeant. Tho former was promoted to second-lieutenant and O.C. his troop, and later gained his captaincy, -whilst McKeown was promoted to secondlieutonant., and later to first-lieuten-ant. The troop is very, proud of itself, and it is most gratifying to feel that its work has merited these distinctions. One and all are in good spirits, and are determined to keop j their end up until a successful issue is | reached.
