THE PICTURES. "The Waiting Soul," a pictqrial drama featuring Olga Petrova, and the opening instalment of the new serial picture, "Who is Number One?" was screened yesterday. The same progrmme will bo repeated tonight. To-morrow a Paramount Service film, "The Lonesome Chap," starring Louise Huff and House Peters, will be presented. Tho supporting subject© include a cartoon, and a comedy entitled "Camping." LYTTELTON CLUB. The billiard tournament of 75 up, sealed handicaps, among the members of the Lyttelton Club, was concluded on Monday night, tho winner being A. Rippin, who secured a trophy valued at £2 2s. The second prize was won by A. Tomson, tho next in order being E. Green, J. Lufaro, and J", T. Brice. At tho conclusion of the tournament a "Welcome Home" was held in honour of Corporal W. Harkess, who has just returned from the front. The club will resume its "Flying 50" billiard tournaments next week.
