PARIS, May 20. A French trawler sank a German submarine.

Tho trawler took the commander prisoner, and liberated the captain and crcw of a Spanish sailer who were aboard the submarine.

Another submarine torpedoed the Spanish steamer Villa Dessola. The American freighter MeCullough was mined or torpedoed in European waters. One man was 'drowned.
