A Spaniard named Echenicpie, employed as a Customs officer at Hendaye, has been sentenced by court-martial atBordeaux to 10 years' Hard labour. A box addressed from Paris to Echenique contained liquid used to mako explosives. An incendiary substance was found in hollow blue pencils which could bo usod to set -fire to factories. Tbe.v were of German origin. It is alleged that some of the explosives were to bo placed in ships.
