I?OW TO MAKE GOOD COUGH MIXTURE. » To avoid the dangers attendant upon tho giving to children of cough mixtures containing such habit-forming opium drugs as paregoric, laudanum, and morphia, parents will be well advised if tliey mako their own family cough mixture from HEENZO (Registered name for Hean's Essence). HEENZO is a compound of non-poison-ous herbal extracts, needing only the addition of warm water and sweetening to mako a most reliable treatment for chest and tliroat troubles. Writing from Belgium, under date February 13th, to an lnvercargill lady, Lieut.-Colonel A. li. As for tho socks, one and all of us treasure New Zealand-made socks, and hang on to theirs, and mend these themselves rather than take them to the baths and exchange them fo l- English-made..
