DRUNKENNESS,
A first offender was fined ss, in defaul 21 hours' imprisonment. TRAMWAY OFFENCE. Charles Spencer Sloeombe, for boarding a moving tramcar, was lined 5s and costs. THE PRISON ESCAPEE. Robert Dickson Warden, the escapee from the Paparua Prison, was charged with escaping from lawful imprisonment, also with breaking and entering the dwelling of William T. W. Hope, at Richmond, on May 11th, and stealing therefrom a suit of clothes, and various articles of jewellery, etc., to a total value of .£'2o.
Sub-Inspector Mullany said that as the man had been arrested only t-ho previous night, he would ask thai the case bo remanded until Wednesday next.
The remand was granted
