Tbe Hospital Board vrrote, sta-tiug that it had. decided to gTant JBtJO for the s*c«w ending March 31st, 1919, towards th* Cheviot Medical Subsidy Fund, subject to the approval of the Minister of Hospitals. Cr. llutherford gave* notice to move at the next meeting of the Council: "That a general rate of id in the £ be levied on nil the ridinjrs of the Countv of Cheviot, and a specia~ rate oi l-30d in the X on tho Hawksv;ood and I'arnagsus Ridings of the said county.
