FAILURE OF SUPER U-BOATS

ROME, May 14. The "Corriere d'ltalia" states that evidence is accumulating that the Ger-
man super-submarines' failure is laTgely owing to their slowness in manoeuvring. It is reported that a whole squadron has been lost in the Atlantic. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, May 14. The Shipping Board has announced that 25,000 tons of wooden ships and: 32,000 tons of steel ships were launched during the weekending May 13th.
