The first round of the Kaiapoi Association's competitions was fired- on Tuesday night between Southbrook and and resulted as under:— Seniors—Rangiora: D. llc&ay 99, J. S. Cook 09, A. Cambridge 9S, T. Tho first handicap competition of the Racgiora Club resulted in a tie between G. Lowe, E. Rowe, R. Foubister, C. Tyler, A. Smith, and J. S. Cook, with a score of 200 each. In the ahoot-oS Lowe won, Smith being sccond and Foubister third.
