For many years tbo lato Mr Chamberlain bred and maintained an excellent herd of the purest strain and tho beet Shorthorn blood acquirable, and it was only in recent years, at the persistent efforts of his friends and the stock agents, that ho was induced to record his cattle amongst tho registered annals of New Zealand. No salo or show ring has been completo without an entry from this herd, and no time or money has been wanting to keep up this high standard of character and efficiency.
