Ths last •meeting of tho Oxford County Council was attended by Messrs D. Hawke (chairman), Ales. Baxter, R. F. Henderson, E. XT, Meyer. J. McGrath, T. Powell, and H. Smith.
Permission was granted llr H. Luers to romovo a house from West Oxford to tho Scrub, on wheels, Mt Luers to make good any damage to roads.
It was resolved to call tenders for shingling roads, also to plough and grade part of the "Warren road.
It wcs resolved to raise a loan for bridge building, and also_ to striko a general rate of three-farthings in the £, the water rates •to be the same as last vcar, with a special rat© on th<> Gnmman's Creek •water racca to pav interest on construction. The credit balanco on March Ist was £652 Os 7d.
