THE COMPETITIONS.

NINTH DAY. The ninth day of the Christchurch Literary and Music at Competitions Society's Festival was brought to a close on Saturday. Children's events largely predominated in the morning and afternoon's programmes. Among the items in the evening were the finals of several events commenced during the day.
