GREEKS CRICKET CLUB,
Tho Greens Cric&efc Club held a progressive euchre*party and dunce in the Solwyn street Hall ou Thursday evening', to wclcomo home Private Roland J&cksozi, who has returned wounded from the front. Mr W. Sheldon, on behalf of the club and friends, gave Priva-te Jackson a hearty welcome, and expressed tho wish that ho would eoon to restored to health. Mr H. Jackson presented the following prizes as the result of the card party: — Miss. Leeson 1, Miss Smith 2. Mr P. Anderson 1, Mr C. Bellamy 2. Miss Bridges and Master Colville booby prizeß. During the interval Mr Sheldon presented trophies to J. French, B. Hill, and E. Jackson, who had been voted the most promising l players for tho season. Mt K. "Woods supplied tho music for the dancing.
