GERMAN SPY ARRESTED
(By Cjble.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and X.Z. Cablo Association.) LONDON, May 9. A German submarine recently landed a spy <>n the Irish coast. The spy was arrested. (Received May 10th, 8 p.m.) LONDON, May 9. In tho House of Commons, Mr J. I. Macpherson confirmed the report that a man was recently put ashore from a German submarine on the Irish coast. He added that the man had been arrested and lodged in the Tower; and would be court-iiiaitiaiied. HOME RULE AND CONSCRIPTION. (Received May 10th, 8 p.m.) LONDON, May 9. Mr Bonar Law stated in tho Houso of Commons that the Home Rule Bill would not be introducoa before Whitsuntide. The House of Commons wotil'l adjourn on May 16th uutil May 28th. Conscription would not be formally ap-! plied to Ireland before the Bill was] introduced*
