The Canterbury Flying Club -flew a young bird race from Parnassus, 141 birds "being l liberated at 2 p.m. by the stationmaater. Tie weather was dull, but a favourable vrind enabled the birds to put up faet time, tho winning bird, Greek Maid, flying 73 miles 1007 yards in lhr 4&min ssec.
