You are drinking to the great Dative Princes and huge populations of India, to the Confederation. of Australia, to the Dominions or to the Union of South Africa, and to every great pioneer who has left his own country and sailed to plant the British flag in the most distant parts of the globe. Do remember when you drink the health of the great Constitutional Monarch of this country that you are drinking to the prosperity and. the luck of all those gallant men who have gone out and bled for tbe Empire* (Cheers.)
