NEW YORK* May 8. The Washington correspondent of tho "New York Tiiti'es" reports that after a debate thb Senate decided to Becretly investigate the aircraft situation. .
The House Military Affairs Committee, after hearing aircraft officials, admit that they are convinced that thero is no evidence of graft or prO-Geiman influence, such as Borglum alleged. Mr Newton Baker gave evidence that he believed that pro-German propaganda Was largely responsible for the criticism of aircraft production.
