-4 . . (press association telegrams.) INVEROARGILL, ilny 0. Tho Economic Drapery, a' two-storey brick building in tho main block in Deo street, owned by Messrs Undrill and Brass, was guttud by tiro last night. The stock was completely destroyed. The insurances on the building wcro £2250, and on the stock £2000. The stock was valued at £2500.
EKETAHUXA, May 9. Tho fourteen-roomed residence of Mr Cecil Kobbell, Tehoc. Station, Alfrodton, with its contents, was totally destroyed by firo at 3 a.m. yesterday. Some of tho occupants oscaped in their attire only.
