The New South Wales Minister for Public Health, who has had under consideration the question of providing means to prevent the introduction of Bilharzia disease into that State, recently suggested to the Commonwealth authorities that the names and addresses of persons known to be infected with the disease, and discharged from the military forces, might be forwarded to the State health authorities with a view to the necessary precautions being taken, says the Sydney "Daily Telegraph." The Prime Minister has now informed the New South Wales Government that action has been taken with a view to giving effect to the suggestion made. The other State Governments aro e'ther prepared to co-operate, or have already taken precautions to prevent the spread of the disease.
