Wootton (10.25 pan.), for Wellington. ' Karamu (10.45 p.m.). for Wcstport, SHIPPING NOTES. Mr 0. Y. Olliver has signed on the Mararoa as purser, succeeding Mr Gordon Mo Xenzie. Mr C. Stephens, third officcr of the vessel, has signed off the ship's articles. Captain P. S. Peterson, who has had command of the Te An an for the past eighteen Tnonths (says th© "Dominion"), and who has been appointed pilot to the Wellington Harbour Board, waa presented, on Monday evening, by the officers and engineers of the vessel with a barometer and case of pipes. crow will also make a presentation to Captain Peterson, aa a token of their regard for him. Captain Poteraon will leave his ' ship at Dnnodin; and take up new duties at Wellington on June Ist. OVERSEAS PASSENGERS. „The following saloon passengers have left I»ew Zealand for overseas:—Mr E.
