A meeting of the North Canterbury Poultry, Pigeon, and Ciciry Club wao held at Rangior& last night, Mr C. H. 801 l presiding. A Tote of sympathy wu p&ssod to Mr D. I 'Ramsey and family in the loss of his son, ■ Private A. Ramsey, killed in action. 1 Three new members were clecled. The Government expert notified, the club j that tlie Department's ofacials could not ; judge the utility classes owing to previous | engagements. Mr R. W. Hawke (Christ- , church) was appointed to the judgeship, and ' Mr G. 11. Ambler wa3 appointed judge of the j open classes.
