CASUALTIES.
The adjourned inquest on Thomas T. Caddy, who was knocked down on April 30th by a taxi-cab, and subsequently died, will be held at 10 a.m. at tho Courthouse to-day. On Sunday morning a man named John Crowther was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, suffering from injuries to his throat. He is 33 years of age, and an electrician. Crowther was lodging in Bristol street, St. Albans, and on Sunday morning his landlord, hearing peculiar noises in the bathroom, entored it, and found Crorther with his throat cut. It is stated that there was a blood-stained razor on the floor. Dr. Downes, who attended the man, reported' that the windpipe had been severed, but that the main artery was not bleeding.
