''WEEKLY PRESS" CHALLENGE SHIELDS.. CADET MARKSMEN PUT VP GOOD SCORES. The handsome Challenge Shields presented to the Junior Cadets of Now Zje*land by the "Weekly Press" in 1906' has brought out many good contests, and has been the moans of providing the first training of some of our most promising shots. Now that the shields have been transferred to the Senior Cadets, tho contest will be oven keener. Already tho -Blenheim boys have put up a sensational score for tho South Island Shield, which, with the medals, was presented to them recently, and now tno North Wand Shield has been won bv the No. 16 Company High School Carets, PalNorth, with a very good soore W 532.
