Wellwood (F. Gray) was schooled over four flights of hurdles, and one brush fence yesterday, and gave his usual fine display. This was the first occasion on winch • Gray had ever schooled a horse over fences, and lie shapefl well. Gray will ride yascular at Ashburton on Thursday.

Bon Spec was schooled at the barrier yesterday, but he did not behave very well, -and it will probably take some time to get him tractable.
