LORD KIMBERLEY AND ETON.
The headmaster of Grammar School appealed to, the Norfolk Appeal Tribunal for a pupil who intended to be a doctor to remain until he was 184, in order that he might take his first examination.
Lord Kimberley: If he was at Eton he would leave before he was 18. The Headmaster: 18J. Lord Kimberley: No one stays after 18, and many leave at 17 to go to Sandhurst. I cannot understand how a man like yourself comes here. Tho tribunal decided by a majority to grant tho application. Lord Kimberley (heatedly): Publio schools would never have sent a master to ask for such a thing. In small places like this I suppose they do. Thank Heaven, my boys*were in a school i-h/ton] where they would never havo asked for him. Good morning.
