LONDON, May 3. Though Vienna reports imply that important changes have occurred at Pctiogrnd, it has been officially stated in the Houso of Commons tliat the Government has had no confirmation of the reported counter-revolution.
A Berlin message states that the peasant deputies overthrew the old Ukrainian liada aud Government, and that the new Government immediately announced its adherence to the BrestLi to vsk peaco terms.
BER.NE, May 3. Advices from Potrograd state that the export of all foodstuffs has been prohibited. The Bolsheviks am endeavouring to unito all tho Socialists with a view to establishing a strong coalition Government to demand the revision of the BresHiitovsk Treaty. WASHINGTON, May 3. Advices from Moscow say that tho German Ambassador, Count Mirbach, and tho Turkish Ambassador, Halil Kem Ali Bey, havo presented their credentials to tho local government. PERSIA ANNULS TREATIES. (United Serviced AMSTERDAM. May 3. The Persian Minister at Tho Hague has handed the Foreign Minister a note, stating that the Persian Government has officially declared that it will regard as void all treaties imposed upon it in recent years, and especially tho Anglo-Russian Treaty of 1907, regarding tho spheres of influence in Persia. Whereas other treaties may later be revised, the Treaty of 1907 remains definitely annulled. GERMAN SUCCESS IN FINLAND. (Australian and X.Z. Cable Association.)
