i CHRISTCHUKCH CENTRE. The Chrislchurch Centre of tlio Dominion' of New Zealand Bowling Association met last night, Sir A. H. Bourn, president, presiding aver a good attendance of delegates. ' A motion of condolence was passed to Mr Henley, one of the delegates, on the death of his wife. Tho, X-ew Zealand Bowling Association wrote stating that the regulations regarding the stumping of bowls would come into force on Octobor Ist, 1018. The Beoltenham Club wrote acknowledging its liiibility to tho Centre, but asking that tho account be modified in view of the state of the club's finances. It was decided to charge a levy of 3d in- ■ stead of 9d per member. ' The Sunnysitle Club wrote withdrawing from the Association, as it was found impossible to run a chib'under present conditions. Tho withdrawal was accepted with regret. Tho balance-sheet' of the Easter, Tournament was as follows:—Receipts £125, expenditure £68 10s, credit balance £56 10s. It was decided to vote £46 ICb to the Y.M.G.A. War Fund, and the balance to tho Salvation Army War Fund. It was decided to present a piece of pla.te j to a competitor winning the Madison trophy 1 for a second time.
