PERSONAL NOTES. Mrs James Scott, McCormack's Bay, Redcliffs, %s been advised that her son, Private R. J. R. Scott, has been invalided liomc. He enlisted, in the 22nd Reinforcements, and was dangerously wounded in the .head on October 4th last (his 21st birthday) in the battle for Belmont Hill, and lias been an inmate of Brockenhurst Hospital ever since. He was educated at theWoolston School and Christ's College, and was employed in the Church Property Trustees' office, under the late tanon Knowles, and On his death joined the staff of Messrs Gordon and Gotch. He also wag a member of the Merivale Football Club. Mrs J. Glassey, Winchmore, has received advice that her son, Rifleman A. Glassey, tvlio was wounded, is progressing favourably.
