the War Graves Commission will hav© some ravelled knots to untie (savs the London "Daily Chronicle"). Within the walled grounds of a monastery not far from Ypres are eome graves oi British soldiers killed and buried there in outpost fighting three years ago. .No feminine foot lias ever been allowed to pass the centuries old gateway. That was the only condition laid down by the cowled brethren when the British Army took orer tho monastery as a casualty clearing station. Will it be possible for mothers or wives of those dead soldiers ever to visit those graves which have made that enclosed garden "lor ever England" ?'
