The authorities have issued a statement showing that the former editor of the ne-wspaper "Gaelic-American'' directed the attempted shipment of German supplies to Sinn Feiners prior to Sir Bogcr Casement's arrest.> Secret service agents seized a letter and advised the British, who were thereby able to capture the ship, which was bound for Ireland.
