The clover German aviator, Lieutenant Hohendor, lias been shot down by a British airman in France (says a Reuter message of September 15th). He was detected spyiug when he was a pupil in tho French flying school in 1913, and when arrested was found to bo in possession of accurate measurements of French aeroplane engines, but he escaped from custody. He flew successfully during tho war and was decorated in July, 1910'. Since then he has not been heard of until now, it is because he was wounded.
