Mawaon has taken charge of a steamer at Auckland, replacing Captain Appleyard, who has gone on transfer. The To Anau is bringing general cargo from Auckland for discharge at Lyttelton. She is duo hero to-morrow, and, after completing, will enil for Bluff, via way porta. Capta'n J. Scott has taken command of the Ivamona at Westport, relieving Captain W. Winsloe, who is to be transferred. The Karamu. was timed to leave Westport la«t night with a full load of coal for Lyttelton, and tho Pohcrna is duo hero to-day witli coal from Ureymouth. The Now Zealand Befrigcrating Co.'s steamer Tiinui is expected to arrive hove to-day from Wellington. The coastal steamer "Woo(ton, with general cargo from Wellington, will arrive at Lyttelton on Sunday. Tho Westport Coal Co.'s steamer Canopna 16 due at thia port to-morrow from Westport. The Wakatu wil] sail ibis evening for Kaikoura and Wellington. Captain J. Bollons, of tho Government steamer Hinemoa, who underwent an • operation Komo time ago, is reported .t0.,b0 progressing very favourably, although "it will be somo time before ho will bo able to rosumo duty. i SHIPPING TELEGBAMS.
