SUMMER CLUB. The fiitli annual report of tho Sumner Bowling Club, wliich is to be presented l at the annual meeting to-night contains tho following particulars:—The pact year baa been most successful, the season opening with 35 active and 7 honorary members, while there were 16 admissions and 4 resignations during tho year. The receipt* for the year amounted to JEI44 lis, the principal souroc of inromc being derived from subscriptions totalling £127 4s Gd. Tho expenditure amounted to £128 5s lid. the principal itom being wages. The green committee, consisting of l>r. Goseet and Messrs W. J. Hampton and J. Illinprworth. carried out their duties in a thorouch and efficient manner, and the thanks of tho members are dne to these "entl*men. and also to ilr liiodoos for his excellent services as carctakcr. The result of the championships during the eeaaon •were • Singles. W. F. Raphael; doubles, T. W. Johnson and W. P. Raphael; championship rinks. J. S. NcvtJlc H. TV. Heslop, "W S. Hcyes, and G. W. C. Smithson. The members aesisted the Sumner Gala Committee in then efforts on behalf of the Patriotic Fuads ,f"?f :ded in rising the amount of £14 liis oa.
