TEMUKA STOCK SALE. The lortnightlv stock sale was held on Tuo.sdaj-. Tho attendance was good and fair prices were realised. Fat owes ma do 22s to 36s 6d, fat lambs '2'2s to 2Ss. fat wethers 2os to 39s (3d, storo ewes 21s 4d to 37s 6d, cwo lambs 26s to 26s lOd, fat cows £8 10s to £13, steers £7 17s 6d to £10 17s 6d. heifers £6 12s 6d to £12, storo steers £9 7s 6d, heifers £4 As, cow in profit £14 10s, heifer calves £3 6s, weaner P'gs 26s to 30s. porkers £2 17s 6d to £4. CLEARING SALE. The New Zealand. Farmers'' Co-opera-tive Association held a clearing sale at Lees ton on behalf ol' Hogg's estate. There was a very largo attendance, and the sale was most successful, bidding being spirited throughout. The principal sales were:—l 6 store pigs at 345, 4 large stores 525, small store pips ]4s Gd to 31s, breeding sows £3 5s to £5 fw, 30 dairy cows made £6 10s to £16 15s, or an average of £10 os. Three fat heifers realised £7 15s, 4 springing heifers £9 to £9 10s, 3 other fat heifers £'8 2s Gd. calves 21s to 465, draught gelding £18, gelding £31 10s, four-year mare .CIS, three-year filly £17, two-year filly £11. A fair proportion was of good quality. Tho demand was keen, freezing buyers operating freely within limits. Prices at the commencement wero Is above lato rates, but afterwards they receded to the previous level. Best wethers 42s to 44s 6d, extra 49s 6d, good 37s to 38s, light 32s 6d to 34s 6d. best ewes 38s to 425. extra. 495, g£>od 34s to 3Gs, medium 30s to 325, light 23s 6d to 255.

Lambs—463 wero penned, some being of very good qualitv. They met with an cxcellcnt demand, prices being fully equal to late rates. Graziers competed freely for unfinished and backward sorts.
