Cloud (O-IO) .. -.7 2 Tho readings taken at tho Ashbarton Domain weather station at 9 o.ro. yesterday were:—Barometer, 29.(2); thermometer, uituc. 4C, min. 34; frost, Odeg, SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Coldi and changeable weather hup provailed, with rain in many porta of the Dominion, and strong easterly winds have predominated. The barometer has fallen slightly in the north but risen slowly in the south. Present indications arc for moderate to strong southerly winds, with cold, squally, and showery conditions. The barometer has a rising tendency everywhere.
