Cnxss ASSOCIATION' TXLXGBJUf.) ■WELLINGTON, Juno 1. Thcro has he en a sensational development in connexion with an assault case ■which camo before tho Magistrate's Court yesterday. A man named Wilaam Reynolds was charged "with assaulting Bert Parker, and it was mentioned at the time that Parker's condition was .scnous. An operation to relievo pressure on tho brain was reformed at the hospital, but the patient died. It is probable that Reynolds will bo charged with manslaughter.
