People carried torches, _ and flares lighted the Strand. Railway and tramway traffic in several directions was almost at a stndstill for hours. A DUTCH CELEBRATION. JOHANNESBURG. December 17. The greatest gathering of Dutch folk held since before the Boer war assembled to celebrato Dingaan's Day at Paardekraal.
