It is officially announced that tho King, on the occasion of the capture of Monastir, cordially congratulated the Serbian Commander snd his valiant army, which was struggling shoulder to shoulder with the Allies. The. Czar, in a similar message, 6aid ho was persuaded that their common efforts would be crowned by a complete victory, which would assuro to Serbia the free devolopment of her political life and tho realisation of her national aspirations. NORTH 1 " OF MONASTIR. LIVELY FIGHTING OCCURS. PARIS, December 13. A French communique states:— i "There was violent artillery action and iively fighting north of Mod astir. "Tho Italians repulsed a Bulgarian counter-attack."
