It was proposed by Mr Mcir and seconded by Mr Hayward that a letter of thanks be forwarded to the Forbury Park Trotting Club. The lighting of horse-boxes on tho trains returning frcm. race meetings was discussed. It was suggested that a. letter should be forwarded to tho Traffic--Manager of tho Railways urging sn improvement. Mr Hayward. junr., spoke of the (Treat loss trotting had sustained in the death of Mr Aikenheaa. It was decided that a letter of sympathy be forwarded to Mrs Aiken?>ead.
