The deputation quoted the enormous increase of betting in New Zealand, and other States, since tho introduction of tho totalisator. The arguments failed to convince tho Minister. \ NEW LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLOR. (Received December Bth, 10.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 8.
