The secretary had -written to Airs Julian Grande, o| Berne, asking her, as a New Zcalander and a resident of ueniie, through which town all the food and clothing is being sent, if possible, to look after the interests of her fellow-countrymen who were prisoners of war by seeing if they were neglected _in any way.
