SUPPLY OF LABOUR. EVERY SOURCE CONSIDERED. (Router's Telegrams.) LONDON, November 17. In the House of Commons, Mr Bonar Lav, in reply to Mr J. R. P. Newman (Unionist member for Enfield), said that the Government wag considering the employment of overseas labour in the steel and allied industries engaged in the national interests. Mr W. M. R.. Pringle (Labour member for Lanark): "If? the introduction of coloured labour being considered?" Mr Bonar Law: "The obtaining of skilled labour wherever it is available, is being considered." The •Manchester Guardian" says that negotiations for the Government taking over all licensed houses in the Glasgow area have reached an advanced stage. It is understood that the basis of negotiations is the payment of six years' purchase. License'! grocers, who are demanding excessive terms, are the chief obstacle to the negotiations.
